is a civil society initiative that works to facilitate communication between Spain and the United States and bring the countries closer together, promoting mutual understanding.

Mission and Goals

The Fundación Consejo España – EE. UU., which was established in 1997, endeavors to strengthen the ties between our two countries as partners, friends, and historical allies. It also promotes joint initiatives to enhance our bilateral relationship in all areas, including economic, business, scientific, educational, and cultural sectors.

Coorganizado por Casa de América, el Instituto Franklin – UAH y el capítulo español de las Daughters of the American Revolution, el encuentro tenía por objetivo analizar el rol del comerciante y diplomático bilbaíno como agente de la Corona española en favor de la Revolución Americana.

La Fundación celebra su primera reunión ordinaria del año con destacadas incorporaciones al Patronato y la vista puesta en el XXVII Foro España – Estados Unidos

A pocos meses de la celebración del Foro en Santa Fe, el Patronato se ha reunido para avanzar en los preparativos del evento y hacer efectivas las incorporaciones del Ayuntamiento de Madrid, la embajadora de España en Estados Unidos, Ángeles Moreno Bau, el secretario de Estado de Asuntos Exteriores y Globales, Diego Martínez Belío, y la consejera delegada de ICEX, Elisa Carbonell.
