Spanish International Forum 2015

04/24/2015

The Spanish International Forum 2015, organized by IFEMA in collaboration with the Spanish Platform, took place in 23 - 26 April in Hall 14.1 at Feria de Madrid. The main objective of this unprecedented event in the world of language was to promote the Spanish language as a significant business generator, building a project that promoted and would strengthen the economic and cultural interests that this language generates, while providing a clear view of the dimension of the Spanish language, both its production capacity and its universal scope.

Together with the Franklin Institute-UAH, the Fundación organized one of the many discussions held over the three days, with a proposal that was entitled: "Companies that succeed in Spanish in the US". Chaired by the Secretary General of the Fundación, Fidel Sendagorta, the debate was attended by two of our board members, BBVA and Telefónica, that were represented respectively by Juan Urquiola, Director of Public Affairs (BBVA) and Carlos López Blanco, Director General of Public Affairs and Regulation and Member of the Executive Committee (Telefónica).
