US Young Leaders

During the VI Annual Forum celebrated in Valencia on November 2000, the Fundación Consejo España-Estados Unidos and the US-Spain Council decided to organize yearly visits to Spain by a group of ten young Americans, leaders in their respective professional fields.

The objective is to ensure that the visitors acquire knowledge of contemporary Spain and its cultural diversity, as well as Spain's most relevant historical periods.

The group of leaders meets influential personalities from politics, business and the Spanish Administration and visits mass media headquarters and cultural institutions.

The program also includes short stays in different Spanish cities allowing the group to acquire a broader understanding of the cultural diversity of our country.

This program aims to establish network of mutual interests between Spain, the U.S and the participants themselves.
