Participation at "EFE Fórum Hispano"


On October 15, 2015, the first meeting of the “EFE Fórum Hispano” took place in the headquarters of Agencia EFE in Madrid, organized by Agencia EFE and The Hispanic Council under the topic “The Hispanic market in the United States: a growing business opportunity”. More than a hundred of managers, professionals and representatives of cultural, political and the media sectors attended to this informative meeting that coincided with the end of the Hispanic Inheritance Month, which takes place in the States since several decades between September 15 and October 15, and aims to consolidate as an annual event through which approximate to the reality of the different Hispanic communities in the United States.

The Fundación was represented by its Secretary General, the Ambassador Manuel Lejarreta, who spoke in the round-table discussion about “The challenge of Spain facing the rise of the Hispanic Community in the U.S.”, in which also participated the Ambassador of Spain Javier Rupérez, José Luis García Delgado, Professor of Applied Economics of the Complutense University of Madrid, José Antonio Alonso, author of “The future of the Spanish in U.S.” and Daniel Ureña, Chairman of The Hispanic Council.
